Pet Match Program

Pet Match is a community service program to help eliminate those pets waiting for space here at the shelter. However, due to the overwhelming influx of strays and unwanted animals coupled with our lack of space, we continue to battle the overwhelming challenge of finding a home for every animal in need. Although, we may never be able to meet this challenge, Pet Match is just another way for us attack the problem. It’s already exceeded our expectations by increasing our monthly adoption rates. However, it only works if people on the waiting list send in a picture and description of their pet which we then post on our website.

If you’d like to use our Pet Match Program, you can download and email the Pet Match Profile form to Kristine. You could also choose to give us a picture and description of your pet when you visit our shelter.

On the other hand, if you see a pet on the program that you’d be interested in visiting and possibly adopting, please download and email the Pre-Adoption Application to Kristine. After we finish processing the application, which takes about 48 business hours, we will give you a call. Then we will try contacting the owners of the pet in order to set up an appointment for you to meet with the pet(s).

Below are the animals listed on our Pet Match Program:

I love to run in the park and take long walks. If I seem like the perfect dog for you, do give the shelter a buzz.

More about Phoebe

Hi, my name is Phoebe and I am 6 years old. I am up to date on all my shots. I love staying indoors most of the time, but I also enjoy going outside for a few hours at a time. I long for lots of love and attention! Please call the Shelter now, if I seem like a purrfect companion for you or even if you have questions about me!

More about Punkin

Punkin was found in the tub of an old wringer washing machine in a place where feral cats hang out, but he was screaming for help, something a kitten with a mommy does not do.  Thus, he came to stay with his current mom for awhile until his forever family comes forward. He is somewhat shy with other kittens, but he is very friendly to humans, and has the experience of bonding with people as he was bottle-fed, and disciplined by his kitty foster parents.  He is more an observer than any of the other kittens in this group, but likes to play one-on-one with people or toys and just watch the others rough-house.  He is not afraid of his companion dog friend but at the same time, does not go out of his way to engage him.  He is going to be someone’s best friend.
