LURE COURSING FUN RUN FOR DOGS

sUNDAY, september 19, 2010 OPTIMIST SOCCER FIELD

12:00 p.m. - Pre-Registered Dogs/Recommended Walk-Ins Welcome after all the pre-registered dogs have run

Lure Coursing is a high energy dog sport in which dogs chase a mechanical lure 5 to 40 mph. Each dog runs alone and times are recorded. At the end of the day, the 3 fastest big dogs and 3 small dogs get prizes. Any dog of any breed or size can run. Most dogs love to lure course! Don't miss this fun event. Spectators are welcome!!

Cost: $5 per run, $15 for 3 runs
To pre-register, call Jackie at 852-1320. Only three-run dogs can pre-register. You will be assigned a time for your runs. Dogs will get breaks between their runs. Pre-registration is recommended.
